For centuries, the debate has often been polarized between two extremes: a cessationist view that relegates such miracles to a bygone apostolic age, and a triumphalist view that can inadvertently heap guilt upon the sick by treating faith as a simple formula. Both positions, in their own way, struggle to account for the whole witness of Scripture and the complex reality of human experience. This essay proposes a third way: a theological model that reframes the entire discussion, moving the focus from transactional faith to consecrated identity.
